OUR MISSION

The mission of "Petro-M Doo” Ilinden, Skopje is using the renewable sources in order to reduce emissions of harmful gases in the atmosphere, which affects a growing venture in the world.

Republic of Macedonia as a member of the European Energy Community and Kyoto signatory act follows the trend of increasing use of renewable energy potentials, for the preservation of the environment.

In the world there are unlimited and insufficiently used natural renewable energy sources, and the largest of these is certainly the solar energy. There are many active companies in the world that are investing their own capital in improving existing systems for converting sunlight into heat and electricity, as well as into development of new technologies.

In The Republic of Macedonia there is large interest in investing in this type of facilities for electricity production also.

“Petro - M" DOO brought a very important decision to invest their own capital in a project that will benefit both the company and its prospects, and The Republic of Macedonia, which has the possibility of increasing the release of harmful consequences for the production of electricity which use other alternatives. Certainly these bold steps will help to encourage other private companies in investing into projects for production electricity using renewable energy potentials.

Support for this project is legislation in the country. According to the Energy Law of the Republic of Macedonia, the Regulatory Commission adopted the Rulebook on the manner and procedure for determining and approving the use of preferential tariff for purchase of electrical energy produced by photovoltaic systems and the decision to establish the preferential tariff for purchase of electricity produced and supplied by photovoltaic systems.
